By downloading, accessing, or using the CalmBud mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

CalmBud is a mindfulness and emotional regulation application designed for children. It provides features such as guided breathing exercises, mood tracking, journaling, and educational content.

3. Use of the App

  • Eligibility: The App is intended for use by children with parental guidance. Parents or guardians are responsible for monitoring their child's use of the App.
  • License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  • Restrictions: You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.

4. User Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. As described in our Privacy Policy, CalmBud does not collect or store personal data on our servers. All user data is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for backing up your device to prevent data loss.

CalmBud is designed with privacy in mind. We do not require you to create an account. Your data (including mood history, stickers, and settings) is stored locally on your device or anonymously associated with your device identifier.

IMPORTANT: If you delete the CalmBud app from your device, your data may be permanently lost. We cannot recover lost data due to app uninstallation or device resets.

CalmBud is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The content and tools provided in the App are for educational and self-help purposes only. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or mental health condition. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.

7. Subscription and Payments

  • Free Trial: We may offer a free trial period for premium features. You will not be charged until the trial period ends.
  • Subscriptions: Some features may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Management: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, and code in the App are the property of CalmBud and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CalmBud shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the App.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
